The role of Global Exchange Center in this program is not just as a recruiting agent. It provides supportive services for the trainees from beginning to the end. Even after the training, it will still serve as information exchange forum for all trainees and host companies. All of its services are aimed to maximize the gains of the students from this program.

Before the Work Training:
Orientation and "Chinese for Work" class:
In the first two weeks, the students get basic knowledge of business Chinese and the introduction of host city, Beijing. They would also learn basic Chinese used in work environments. Also they would get the general introduction of the host company and learn what they can expect from their work training.

During The Work Training:
A. Coordinator in Global Exchange Center:
From the beginning, each student has a coordinator from Global Exchange as his or her assistant. The coordinator would guide the students during the whole process in order to minimize the culture shock, language difficulty and all other problems. The coordinator keeps contact with each student intensively.

B. "Buddy" in host company:
Our center would arrange a person in the host company as "buddy" for each student during the work training. This person may be the supervisor or co-worker. This person would be available for daily assistance.

C. Weekly review and reporting opportunity:
At end of each week, the student has an opportunity to discuss with their supervisor or the coordinator of Global Exchange about their progress and problems. The student may be asked to make small presentation in Chinese for practicing purpose.

After The Work Training:
A. Final Review and evaluation:
In cooperation of the host company, our center will give each student a final evaluation upon the completion of the training. The evaluation covers strengths and weakness of the student during the program and will point how the student could improve their language and social skills in the future.

B. Certificate upon completion:
Global Exchange Center and host company would jointly issue a certificate to each student who successfully completed the whole training process.

C. Periodical information update after training:
The gain of the student in the program will not end in the last day of the training. Global Exchange Center will serve as information hub for all the students and host companies after the training. The center will keep the students well informed of developments in some common interested areas, such as new business opportunities related to China.
