Chinese Business Internship Program

Features:
It is the combination of an internship, Chinese language study and the business training. It offers an opportunity to gain a deep insight of Chinese people, business and society. It also offers valuable opportunity to build personal contacts and friendships in business community in China.

The trainees can learn Chinese language, cultures and business practices in both the classroom as well as the real life environments.


The program lasts about 20 weeks. There are two sessions each year. One is in Spring and another is in fall.

Three Sections of the program:
This 20 weeks program includes three sections:
Section 1: Intensive General Chinese Training (8 weeks)
There are 30 lessons per week. The focus is on improving the conversation skills. The content is general Chinese that are used in daily life.
Section 2:

Business Chinese study and business related activities once a week (6 weeks)
There are 20 lessons Business Chinese study each week. The contents are business related Chinese language, such . Trainees can improve their speaking, listening, reading and writing skills in this stage.

Sample of Business Chinese Course Contents:
* To participate in meetings
* To read a fax or business memo
* To listen and read simple conversation about marketing and investment
* To listen and read simple conversation about other business subjects
* To use the telephone with confidence
* To socialize and entertain with Chinese partners
* To make a short business presentation

The focus and difficult level of this part will be adjusted based upon the average skill level of trainees. Up to 10 sessions of after-class tutoring may be arranged if needed. The students may also book for additional private lessens at discounted rate.

In average, business related activities are organized once a week. The activities include intercultural competence training, lectures on Chinese business environments, legal system, business field trips. The types of companies may be in manufacturing, services, IT and international trade.

Section 3: internship and private language training (6 weeks) Trainees will work in a selected company for 25-30 hours per week. The companies may be in the industry of import-export, advertisement, consulting, business services or others.
Once a week, Presentation and discussion session is arranged. The trainees are asked to present the progress, gains, problems during work program.

Price and Schedules:
  $4600 per semester (20 weeks)
The fees include:
tuition, double shared accommodation in student dorm, internship placement, business field trips, cultural tours in Beijing, visa application documents, textbooks and airport transfers.

If the student need single room, there is $900 additional cost.

Our prices do not include: international airfare, passport and visa fees, airport taxes, excess baggage charges, medical expenses, and baggage, cancellation and accident insurance.
