Frequently Asked Questions

1. What is average size of your class?
How about maximum?
  Our average class size is around 6 and the maximum class size is 15.

2. How long does one lesson last in your program
  (without breaks)?
50 minutes.

3. Is there any age limit for applicants?
  There is no upper limit for the applicants. Most of our students are over 18 years Old. We could accept junior applicants if they register by group and are accompanied by their teacher or group leader.

4. Is there any requirement for Chinese language
skills for the applicants?
  Practically no. The applicants without any Chinese background may apply for entry level programs. If you would like to study in a specialized program such as "Chinese plus Work Experiences" but do not have any Chinese study experiences, you may take certain amount of additional general Chinese class before Work Experiences session.

5. What is the difference between study visa and tours visa to China?
  The key difference between tour visa and study visa is whether it is extendable after three months. It is very easy to apply for tours visa to China and almost no documents are needed from us for tours visa. But it is very hard to extend tours visa beyond three months. At same time, the study visa could be extended beyond three months and the applicant needs W202 form from Chinese educational institutes to apply for study visa. We could arrange that documents for you once we accept your application.

6. Will your staff meet the student(s) when he or
she arrives in Beijing?
  Yes. For all of our students, no matter as individual or as a group, our staff always meets and welcome them in Beijing airport and lead them to their accommodation upon their arrival.

7. Could you tell us about your location and teaching facilities?
  It is located in northwest side of Beijing near the 4th Ring Road. It has several classrooms with modern training facilities.

8. How and where the students can get money change?
  The students could exchange money in Beijing airport or at any major commercial banks near the campus. Our staff usually assists students on this matter during the first week of arrival. The cash advances can be drawn in the Bank of China for a transaction charge. Major credit cards, such as Visa, MasterCard, are accepted in major hotels and fine restaurants.

9. What forms of transportation are available in Beijing
  and how much are the costs?
Subway costs 3 Yuan RMB no matter where you go. The bus fares run from 1 yuan to about 10 yuan depending the type of bus (air-con or non). The taxi costs 10 yuan for short distance (3 or 4 kilometers) It may cost 30 to 40 yuan to cross Beijing. Some students like to buy a bicycle for local travel. (Note: 1 US dollar equals to 8.3 yuan RMB).

10. What kinds of foods are availablearound dormitory
and how much they
  cost?
There are many restaurants, Chinese, Japanese, Korean and western, around and within our campus. Food delivery is also available in our students apartment. In average, lunch or super costs 20 to 30 RMB ($2.5 to $4) for each person.

11. What students should bring with?

  In major cities such as Beijing and Shanghai, it is very convenient to find famous brand products that are popular in other international cities, from soft drink, fast foods, to soap and shampoo. The shoes and clothes are in general very inexpensive in China. We recommend that the students bring preferred brands of over-the-counter medications and a few towels upon the arrival.

12. What is your students apartment like?
  Most of our students live in student dormitory nearby the centre. The student apartment is in hotel style. The standard room contains two single beds, a study desk, a colored TV, telephone, a small refrigerator, the drinking water machine and a closet. There are washing machines in each floor of the building. There are also some suites with living room in the building.

13. Is there other kind of accommodation available?

  Yes, there are hotels near the campus. The standard room cost is from $30-$50.

14. What kinds of supports does you center provide to
  your agent partners?
First, our center provides promotional materials including our brochures, photos and details instructions, to our agent partners. Also we provide timely online information supports through internet.
