The following terms and conditions are an agreement between you and Global Exchange Center. When you register for a course, program or accommodation, you are agreeing to what is written below.?

Course Placement and Schedule change:?
- If a group has less than two participants, Global Exchange Education Center reserves the right to change your booking to private one to one lessons and reduce the amount to 50%. of number of group lessons booked.
- If you have group lessons and you cannot attend on schedule, Global Exchange Center will not arrange for a make-up class.
- If you book private lessons, you are required to inform Global Exchange Center in writing of any absences or changes at least TWO working day before your private lesson.

Course Fees Refund Policy
- The registration of $50 for Chinese language courses is non-refundable but may be applied to future registrations in the same calendar year.
- Tuition and study materials fees are refundable for those who cancel two weeks or longer before scheduled starting date.
-90% of Tuition is refundable if cancellation is made within the first week of program or less than 2 weeks before starting date.
-No refund after the first week of the program.
-Exception must be approved by the director of Global Exchange Center.

Accommodation Terms & Conditions
- Requests for accommodation must be received at least four weeks prior to the start date.
- For all types of accommodation, the standard check-in time is on Sunday and the check-out time is before noon of Saturday.
- Accommodations are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed for students beyond the dates of their course.

Accommodation Cancellation, Changes & Refund Policy?
- There are no refunds for accommodation changes on stays of four weeks or less.
- If you want to cancel accommodation arrangements after arrival, you must give Global Exchange Center four weeks notice. All fees paid for accommodation after these four weeks will be refunded.

Payment deadline:
- payment is due 4 weeks before the starting date of booked course,
- Late fee may be charged after payment deadline.

Unusual Circumstances
Your program may be disrupted by an unusual event or circumstances that Global Exchange Center could not reasonably have foreseen. If the unusual event is serious enough to significantly affect your program, we will try to arrange a suitable alternative if possible. We cannot accept liability for the effect of any unusual event or for any loss, damage, expense or claim of any description you suffer as a result.?

Use of Photos and Comments
By agreeing to these terms and conditions you agree that we may use any photo(s)/image(s) we or someone on our behalf take of you or any comments (written or verbal) you make during or in connection with your stay for our promotional/marketing purposes (such as including them in our brochure / website) without obtaining your further specific permission or making any payment to you.

Complaints Policy
You should lodge your complaint in writing within five working days of the incident complained of.

Code of Conduct
All participants on Global Exchange Center programs are expected to adhere to proper conduct, listen to the instructions of Global Exchange Center. This covers, but is not limited to, respecting others' cultures and beliefs, respecting the accommodation and avoiding drugs and illegal activities. Participants will be removed from the program without a refund if they engage in illegal, violent or improper behavior. Participants are responsible for any and all damages they cause and must directly compensate the owner of the property involved.?
