Paid English Teaching Intern positions available for the fall semester 2011

Global Exchange Education center recently reached an agreement with VIP China ( stand for Valuable Intercultural Pioneer China) to recruit English teaching interns for the fall semester this year.
VIP China is a quasi government agency and its main role has been conducting educational research on how to standardize and streamline the recruiting, training and daily supporting process for foreign English teachers in China As the boom demand of qualified English teachers nation wide, proper managing the whole process and maintaining the quality at same time becomes a big challenge for individual school. VIP China received the fund from government in 2008 to conduct comprehensive research and feasibly study and has established network of schools in many provinces in China.
As the secondary function of VIP China, recruitment for English teaching positions has launched 2010. Mr. Sun, the director of its International Cooperation, has visited our center and has expressed the intention to work with our center in our current internship programs.
The English Teaching Interns are paid positions and the work venues are outside of Beijing, such as Zhejiang, Jiangsu and more. The interns may inform us the area she or he is interested in, then the placement will be decided by our center and VIP China. As this is an internship programs so the English teaching certificates and experiences are preferred but not required. The typical schools are at middle or high school level. The accommodation is free and food and living allowances are available for qualified applicants. The scheduled work time will be from September 1 to the end of December 2011, but the required training will start on August 15, 2011. The training and three days cultural tours in Beijing are free for the interns.
