My stay in Beijing so far has been great, even though many things are so different from
what I'm used to. Beijing is such an interesting country with many things to see and
experience. Once I went to Beihai Park with some friends. It was really amazing to see
something that beautiful in the middle of the city. I went there on a really sunny autumn
day so all the leaves on the trees had started to turn yellow. That together with the big lake
made a stunning scenario. Food here in Beijing is something I think one has to get used to.
In the beginning everything seems so weird, but once you dare to taste it is actually quite
good. I had never eaten Beijing duck before so that was really interesting to try, and it was
really tasty to. In my opinion the Chinese language is the most beautiful language in the whole
world, but it is also very hard to learn and understand. People here speak so fast and don’t
usually care if you understand or not, but that only makes me more motivated to study and
learn faster.
