I arrived in Beijing on October 6. I am 21 years old, and I am a young girl who has seen
China only in the movies or studied in the school books in Italy.
When I arrived in Beijing I had no expectation, in my big suitcase I had only the desire to
learn, know and try to understand the great difference that exists between China and Italy.
Now that I'm at the end of my travel of 3 months in Beijing I can describe this experience
with a single word: Magnificent.
The school is small but full of people and teachers which have the sole purpose of
teaching with a lot of patience a very difficult spoken and written language.
The Chinese people are wonderful, they talk with you, they help you and they try to
understand you.
You can do but one thing, look at them, and everyday you wonder that the day before you
won't have notice, so everyday is different and is full of emotions.
Beijing is a dream, in Beijing there seems not to exist evil, there seems not to exist danger
and especially there seems not to exist the fear of difference.
I can only give one advice to all those guys who want to come to Beijing: do not make
expectations and you will live this big city and this beautiful culture always with a smile
because only then will you counterstand the wonderful experience that you have done.
