Chinese Language Conver Sation Clup

This is a virtual club which allows members to practice their Chinese language skills with each other over our distance learning platform. One of the experienced teachers from our language center will act as a moderator each time.

It runs twice a week with each session running for one hour. Each time the conversation is focused around one central topic. Participants may request to have audio records of key sentences of the conversation afterward. The conversation clubs are different from formal courses, the moderator will make summery of key language points used during the session and will point key mistakes that members may make.  But the focus will be to offer members as many opportunities as possible to practice their language skills.

Focusing on improving participants' fluency and comfort level with speaking instead of correctness will be the emphasis of the conversation club.  Members may request focus on certain topics by sending such topics to the moderator in advance. 

Sometimes, student members may take over the role of moderator to organize the conversations, at these times the teacher will keep records of main language points covered during the conversation that will most benefit members' improvement process.
